Pizza Hut welcomes National Middle Child Day with “a pizza that puts YOU first.”

According to old clichés, middle children often feel ignored. However, Pizza Hut celebrates them on “Middle Child Day” on August 12th.

Pizza Hut has a new contest for middle children. Here, kids get the chance to win a free box of pizza with their preferred topping.

“Happy National Middle Child Day! Finally, a pizza that puts YOU first. Share your middle child stories w/us by tagging @pizzahut and using the hashtags #NationalMiddleChildDay #promotion for a chance to get a Pizza Hut e-gift card for a FREE Double It Box!” the pizza chain said on Twitter.

To join, you must follow Pizza Hut’s Twitter account, share your “middle child grievance story,” and tag @PizzaHut as well as the needed hashtags. The contest will have 50 winners who will receive an e-gift card for a free “Double It Box” – a new product that has two separate rectangular pizzas in the same box.

Winners will be selected on August 13th and contacted by August 14th. The company’s blog post clarifies that “the content of your tweet will not be judged and will therefore not increase or decrease your chances of winning.”
