Refugees In America Are Diseased Trojan Horses

• Seven refugees in Idaho have been diagnosed with tuberculosis.
• Idaho is the seventh state to have refugees that are diagnosed with the infection.
• 21 percent of the over 4,000 refugees in Idaho have been diagnosed with LTBI (latent tuberculosis infection.)

Between 2011 and 2015 seven refugees, who were resettled in Idaho, were diagnosed with tuberculosis, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

If that’s not scary enough, Idaho isn’t the first state to have refugees with Tuberculosis move in. It’s not even the second state. It’s the seventh.

Lousiana has twenty-one refugees diagnosed with tuberculosis, Florida has eleven, Colorado has ten, Indiana has four, Kentucky has nine, and North Dakota has four. All together that is sixty-six diagnosed cases of tuberculosis inside the United States, some of which did not start exhibiting symptoms till as long as five years of living in The States.

After the news, Idaho became one of the fourteen states to withdraw from the federal refugee resettlement program.

A voluntary agency (VOLAG) is in charge of resettling refugees, yet, in Idaho, the resettlement has been taken over by the Idaho Office for Refugees (IOR), which is a subdivision of the non-profit agency Janus. Janus happens to be one of the largest companies in the industry of refugee resettlement. Not only do they get  $1 billion a year from the federal government, but the man who runs the IOR division, Jan Reeves, was honored in 2013 as a “champion of change,” by the Obama administration.

In giving Reeves the honor the White House said, “The White House honors ten leaders with the Welcoming America organization — helping immigrants integrate civically, linguistically and socially into the fabric of their neighborhoods – and our nation. During the last 5 years, Mr. Reeves, in partnership with the City of Boise Mayor’s Office, has led the effort to more fully integrate refugees into the community and create a more welcoming environment for all newcomers. Through the successful engagement of dozens of community partners, this effort has led to the development and implementation of Boise’s first Refugee Community Plan.”

The Idaho refugee program, however, has been in the news for negatives as well as positives. After two refugees from Sudan and one refugee from Iraq allegedly sexually assaulted a five-year-old girl in Twin Falls, Idaho, the IOR has been in the hot seat.

The IOR was quickly flooded with requests to confirm if the three boys had been resettled in Idaho under the refugee resettlement program. Neither Jan Reeves nor the U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho would give a comment.

Last week, Breitbart reported that the Obama administration had made a comment about the incident. Their report read, “President Barack Obama’s top legal appointee in Idaho is threatening to prosecute Americans who criticize the federal immigration policies which enabled Sudanese and Iraqi Muslim migrants to perpetrate a vile sexual attack against a five-year-old girl in Twin Falls, Idaho.”

Between 2011 and 2015 4,650 have been resettled in Idaho. Of those refugees 17 percent (785) were from Iraq, 15 percent (708) were from the Democratic Republic of Congo, 12 percent (554) were from Bhutan, and 11 percent (500) were from Burma.

Idaho said that 90 percent of the 4,650 refugees that were resettled were screened within the first three months of their arrival into the state. 21 percent (896) of the 4,202 refugees screen tested positive for LTBI (latent tuberculosis infection).

If you want to compare that, only 4 percent of the general population of the United States tests positive for LTBI.

That’s a big difference.

The rate for LTBI in other states with a refugee population is relatively similar to the 21 percent in Idaho. Vermont’s percentage of LTBI is at 35 percent, Tennessee’s at 27 percent, Indiana’s at 26 percent, Minnesota’s at 22 percent, Texas’s at 15 percent, and California is at 12 percent.

Tuberculosis is not an infection that anyone wants to mess with. Refugees continue to come to our country harboring a number of diseases that could cause serious health risks in America. Be careful and gather as much information you can so you and your family are probably prepared.
