Representative Jim Jordan said that once the GOP regains the majority, they will investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci. He gave this answer when asked by Fox News host Maria Bartiromo.
Rep. Jim Jordan: ‘Yes, We Definitely Are’
Earlier, Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Rep. Jim Jordan if the House will investigate Fauci. Jordan responded enthusiastically. “Yes. Yes, we definitely are,” he said.
The White House Chief medical adviser is under fire for approved funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Many American and British experts believe that the COVID-19 pandemic started when the virus escaped from the Wuhan lab. However, many would avoid expanding on the idea in order to preserve “international harmony.”
Rep. Jim Jordan promised that once the Republican party takes back the House majority, things will be a bit different. He said that if American voters give them the majority, they will definitely put Fauci under investigation.
“We now know without a doubt that Dr. Fauci knew on January 31 and February 1 that this thing came from a lab,” he said.
He added that top scientists already said that the virus came from a lab. In fact, “one scientist says we got the notes now from the conference call on February 1st. One scientist says, ‘I don’t see how this can happen in nature, but it would be easy to do in a lab.’”
Fauci Knew That Coronavirus Originated From A Lab
However, these scientists took back what they said almost immediately. In a matter of days, they changed their position and came out with The Lancet article that said the opposite.
The interesting thing is. “We just learned this last week, the two doctors who were most adamant that this thing came from a lab early on,” he added.
The first scientist, Dr. Kristian Anderson, wrote Fauci an email last January 31, 2020. Anderson wrote that the “virus looks engineered. The virus not consistent with evolutionary theory.’ So, he knew it came from a lab.”
Another scientist, Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, also agreed that the virus might have lab origins. Last February 2020, he emailed that Covid likely evolved from a Sars-like virus inside human tissue in a low-security lab.
He sent this email to Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins of the US National Institutes of Health. It went on to say that such evolution ‘accidentally created a virus primed for rapid transmission between humans.’
Meanwhile, a Dutch scientist and a US public health official warned that discussing this theory can seriously cause repercussions with China.
Dr. Francis Collins, then the director of the NIH, replied to Dr. Farrar. He warned that unless they create a framework, “the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate”. They can potentially cause harm to “science and international harmony.”
In addition, Dutch virologist Dr. Ron Fouchier also responded to the email. “Further debate about such accusations would unnecessarily distract top researchers from their active duties and do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular.”

Do you agree with Jordan’s promise to investigate Fauci about what he knows about the origins of coronavirus? Personally, do you agree that the coronavirus originated from a lab?
