Ted Cruz Is Gracious In Defeat

If nothing else, Ted Cruz is a gracious loser.

If you supported or even just respect the man, then this video is a touching send-off for a man who ran a long campaign.

The video is all about his staffers who have been by his side, many for over a year. As one says, “Ted Cruz didn't lose, our campaign for president lost.”

Cruz will undoubtedly be running again in 4 or 8 years. He strongly hinted at this with a quote about Ronald Reagan.

“Ronald Reagan, in 1976, came up short. I suspect at that convention there were more than a few tears,” Cruz Said.

Moving forward through the next few elections, Ted Cruz will have to combat Marco Rubio more than any other candidate. They are both around the same age, have large draws from the same conservative voter pool, and are both vying to be the face of the new younger conservative movement.

If Donald Trump can serve two terms, then in 8 years I expect a heated race that will leave one of those two men the GOP nominee.

After everything, Ted Cruz ran a strong campaign, played to win, and was gracious in defeat. I expect big things out of him moving forward.
