Trump Says Virginia’s Second Amendment is “Under Very Serious Attack”
President Trump declared the Second Amendment is “under very serious attack” in Virginia with the “contentious gun debate in the commonwealth and ahead of a controversial gun-rights rally in Richmond on Monday,” according to reports.
“Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!” Trump tweeted.

Virginia Citizens Defense League expects thousands of gun-rights advocates to attend the rally that they organized. Pro-gun activists have challenged Gov. Ralph Northam’s order of declaring a state of emergency and temporarily banning individuals from carrying firearms on Capitol grounds. On the other hand, a Richmond Circuit Court judge upheld Northam’s order.
In a report by Fox News, “the Democrat-led Senate advanced legislation limiting handgun purchases to once a month, requiring universal background checks on gun purchases, and allowing localities to ban guns in public buildings, parks and other areas. The measures largely passed along partisan lines and will now go to the House for consideration.”

To all sound minded American patriots: Who is attacking your God-given rights as enumerated in the U.S. Constitution, Second Amendmend? Democrats of course. Inner city residents need arms to defend their families from gang armed home invasions, robberies, car jackings, and numerous other crimes which are rampant. These inner city residents are a traditional constituency of Democrats. Democrats do not care about god, much less GOD, or the LORD and His Word. Even Jesus sent his disciples forth on their Second Missionary journey with swords for defense.

It sounds like if you’re not allowed to bring YOUR LEGAL WEPONS to a PUBLIC PLACE, the Govt could arrest you on a false charge and possibly put you in a detention facility for an ILLEGAL REASON. For an undetermined amount of time. Hitler would be proud. Thanks 🙏🏻

The words and the intent of the 2 Amendment to our Constitution are violated each time these “legislators” pass a new, common sense gun law. These laws are allegedly for our own good and safety as we are to stupid to understand. I READ ABSOLUTE CONTROL OF THE PEOPLE!!! WHEN PEOPLE FEAR THE GOVERNMENT YOU HAVE TYRANNY. Virginia or any State: State Law does not supersede the Federal Constitution, if State law did supersede the constitution, there would no need for a Federal Government. What we would have is 50 countries, instead of states, The States are part of the United States. Each state has its own State Constitution, but those Constitutions do not supersede the Federal Constitution.
Most states that address the “rights of the citizen” and also address the right to keep and bear arms address that that right is reserved as ” the right of the people” and re enforce the 2nd Ammendment. The states ONLY duty is to protect that right of the people. The state does not give that right to the people. The 2nd Amendment builds on the Inalienable Rights endowed on us by the Creator of Life,Librty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for without the right to PROTECT life those Inalienable Rights have no value.
