Trump Win’s The Gay Vote
- A gay gun-rights group, Pink Pistols, is calling on the LGBT community to not overreact and remember that the blame is not on guns it is on the people who use them.
- “Our job now is not to demonize the man’s tools, but to condemn his acts and work to prevent such acts in the future.”
- Pink Pistols believes that harsher gun restrictions would only disadvantage law-abiding citizens.
A gay gun-rights group is calling on the LGBT community to arm themselves in the wake of the Orlando, Florida, terrorist attack Sunday that left 50 people dead.
In a statement Sunday, Pink Pistols speaker Gwendolyn Patton warned Americans to avoid a knee-jerk reaction to blame guns after 29-year-old Omar Mir Seddique Mateen opened fire on dozens of unsuspecting revelers at Pulse, a popular gay nightclub.
“The Pink Pistols gives condolences to all family and friends of those killed and injured at Pulse,” Ms. Patton said. “This is exactly the kind of heinous act that justifies our existence. At such a time of tragedy, let us not reach for the low-hanging fruit of blaming the killer’s guns. Let us stay focused on the fact that someone hated gay people so much they were ready to kill or injure so many. A human being did this. The human being’s tools are unimportant when compared to the bleakness of that person’s soul.
“I say again, GUNS did not do this,” she added. “A human being did this, a dead human being. Our job now is not to demonize the man’s tools, but to condemn his acts and work to prevent such acts in the future.”
Ms. Patton argued that stricter gun control would only disadvantage law-abiding citizens.
“It is difficult, if not impossible, to foresee such an event,” she said. “But if they cannot be prevented, then they must be stopped as fast as someone tries to start them.”

Americans Come together in times of crisis! Gay lives matter! Regardless of our differences we are Americans first! The time to divide isn’t in the middle of a crisis! It’s so strange how Obama and Hillary, and the MSM, before the smoke cleared, before the bodies of the poor Americans were even taken care of, they went straight to gun control. Before the families had answers, they went to gun control! It is why I’m saying they put that guy up to this massacre! The anti- gun left wing radicals are responsible for every mass shooting that has happened! Nobody hears from the shooters, ever! They are either dead, or in a box! The LGBT crowd are Americans first, and Obama and the left wing racist radicals have now murdered children, black church members, military, and now gay people! Why, because people with common sense know that if our guns are taken away, only killers will have them! If you are allergic to bee stings, and there were bee hives in front of an area you can enter in one spot, and no bees in the other, which entrance are you going to use?
The left chose to coddle Radical Islam rather than protect innocent gays. They’ll pay the price for it.
I applaud the Gay Community to take up this issue. If they don’t stand up the will get run over by the current elected party and the Clinton wannabe
I think Donald Trump has the right ideas.
The veil of hypocrisy has been stripped away, and former Hillary supporters are now paying attention to all the money the Clinton Foundation took in from countries that have the death penalty for those of the gay persuasion. Trump will defend their civil rights in that regard, and Hillary will on offer lip service.
All mass shootings take place in gun-free zones. They pick these places for that reason & the only defense is a good person, licensed AND ARMED to stop them. If these people can’t get a gun, they’ll get a bomb, or a knife, or whatever it takes to do their dirty work! Get a good gun, w/a good laser (which might prevent having to use the gun!) & learn to use it!
I believe Trump because I think he tells the truth of what he believes and says.you can trust what he says over other politicians because he does not try to please everyone to win votes.You know you get what he says you will.
Hillary said we have to “empathize with the Islamists and understand their perspective” she also beats the drum to take away our 2nd amendment rights while her ample ass is surrounded by secret service 24/7. As a gay woman, I loathe her. We have an ISLAM problem not a gun problem. She has been bought and paid for by Saudi Arabs who hate our guts. That bag will never criticize islam.
