Former President Donald Trump’s socmed platform TRUTH Social will have more than 75 million users once it goes online. RightForge, the network infrastructure company that will host TRUTH Social in the coming weeks, gave this assessment.

Incidentally, 75 million is the number of Americans who voted for the former president during the last elections.

Trump’s Socmed Platform Will Have A Safe Haven

A known hosting firm for many conservative sites, RightForge will take up the hosting chores for TRUTH Social, Trump’s latest salvo into the social media space.

Company CEO Martin Avila said that RightForge is presently laying the groundwork to easily handle the influx of users once Trump’s socmed platform goes online. He promised that there will be “servers everywhere” to handle the load.

The activities of the hosting company were a response to the banning of Trump from major social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

RightForge also mentioned the deplatforming of Parler, a popular social app for right-wingers and Trump supporters. Meanwhile, Trump officials have yet to confirm if RightForge will host TRUTH Social’s servers. However, a cursory visit to the TRUTH Social YouTube channel mentions RightForge as a host.

RightForge provides services such as web hosting with its own network of servers. The company offers a safe haven platform where they claim that legal content remains safe from censorship. In addition, RightForge said that their sites are perfect “for free speech and a free press.”

TRUTH Social Beta To Go Online By November

Meanwhile, Trump’s socmed platform TRUTH Social is gearing up for a beta launch for invited guests by November. The full platform launch will occur in the first quarter of 2022.

In a statement, the former president said his network would combat “self-righteous scolds and self-appointed arbiters” who decide what people “think, say, share, and do.”

According to Avila, Trump’s advisers approached RightForge over the summer. “If you believe that the president should be de-platformed, we believe that you're not really interested in living in a free country,” Avila said.

“And that's really what we're all about is making sure that America stays true to its core ideas, and that the marketplace of ideas stays open,” he added.

Taliban Is Allowed Social Media, Trump Wasn’t

In a press statement last week, Trump announced his plans for TRUTH Social. He said that a new company formed by a merger of the Trump Media and Technology Group with a special acquisition company (SPAC) will give rise to Trump’s socmed platform.

The SPAC involved was identified as Digital World Acquisition Corp. DWAC is basically an investment vehicle that looks for companies to merge with.

Trump also added his thoughts about how social media is keeping him on the sidelines. “We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced.

This is unacceptable,” he remarked. “I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I'm excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech,” he added.
