This year, Warner Bros. will be convening a 24-hour virtual gathering of the biggest names in the DC Comics universe.

DC FanDome will be on August 22nd starting at 10 a.m. PDT. It will have talent announcements and reveal new content from WB games, comics, film, and television.

Fox Business reported that the announcement comes “a couple months after Comic-Con, which attracts tens of thousands of comics fans to San Diego, was canceled due to the coronavirus-related restrictions around large gatherings.”

The virtual panels will have cast and creators from DC films. These include the likes of “The Batman,” “Black Adam,” and “Wonder Woman 1984” and more. They will also feature casts from television shows such as “The Flash,” “Stargirl,” and “Black Lightning.”

The event will be spread out across six different areas on the event’s website. These areas include Hall of Heroes, DC WatchVerse, DC YouVerse, DC KidsVerse, DC InsiderVerse, and DC FunVerse.

“There is no fan like a DC fan,” said Warner Bros. chair and chief executive officer Ann Sarnoff of the upcoming virtual event.

“For more than 85 years, the world has turned to DC's inspiring heroes and stories to lift us up and entertain us, and this massive, immersive digital event will give everyone new ways to personalize their journey through the DC Universe without lines, without tickets and without boundaries.”

According to Sarnoff, DC FanDome will offer new ways for fans to meet their favorite characters, as reported by The Daily Mail.

“With DC FanDome, we're able to give fans from around the world an exciting and unparalleled way to connect with all their favorite DC characters, as well as the incredible talent who bring them to life on the page and screen,” she said.

The event will be available in the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
