Fed Employees Get 4 Months Leave to Care For Migrant Kids
The Biden administration is offering federal employees four months of paid leave if they help care for migrant kids. In particular, the administration emailed federal workers for help with Unaccompanied Alien Children, or UACs, who crossed the border illegally.

Email Offers To Care For Migrant Kids
The New York Times reported the offer to government workers. “The desperate plea landed this week in the email inboxes of employees in government agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and NASA: Will you consider taking a four-month paid leave from your job to help care for migrant children in government-run shelters packed with new arrivals at the border?” the Times reported.
“The request to much of the federal workforce came from the Department of Health and Human Services, which is at the heart of a frantic effort by the Biden administration to keep up with a surge in young people crossing the southwestern border hoping to reunite with relatives already in the United States,” the Times added.
Total Migrant Children Will Reach More Than 35,000
Meanwhile, Texas Governor Greg Abbott told Fox News that he thinks the number of UACs will be higher than the 35,000 the Biden administration projected by June. In addition, the governor blamed the Biden administration for the ongoing border crisis.
Specifically, he said that Texas child welfare agencies received complaints about sexual abuse in at least one detention center.“This facility is a health and safety nightmare. The Biden administration is now presiding over the abuse of children. To end this abuse, the Biden administration must immediately shut down this facility,” Abbott warned.
However, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the White House has no plans to shut down the facility. She said the administration takes the safety and the well-being of children in our care very seriously. The government allocated funding to keep migrant children safe during the pandemic.
But what about Abbott's claim? Psaki said the HHS will look into the governor's claims. “Currently we have no basis for his call to shut down the San Antonio Freeman Coliseum as an intake site but we will of course — we take these allegations seriously and they will be investigated,” she added.
Senator Braun Asked to Delete His Photos
The Times report came out after Senator Mike Baun (R-IN), who recently returned from touring an overcrowded facility at the US-Mexico border, said a Biden official asked him to delete his photos. However, Braun held onto his photos despite the official's request.
“There was one of Biden’s representatives. I felt sorry for the lady because she actually talked to me about deleting a picture, but by the time she got to me, all those other pictures were taken, and that shows you the hypocrisy. None of us would have gone down there if we were going to be muzzled,” said Braun.
Also, he added that Border Patrol also asked that no photos be taken. In fact, Braun recounted that the officials explained that “they were telling us that because they had to.”
Afterward, Braun wrote a letter to President Joe Biden suggesting he visit the border himself. Specifically, he urged the President to visit as the surge made it a moral imperative for him to witness the situation firsthand.
This can help the President see the reality and not the sanitized version of the border tour taken by some of my congressional colleagues. “Having personally gone this week, I can testify to this being an inhumane, unsustainable, and dangerous situation,” he wrote.

Hahaha. It’s not paid leave. It’s still a job, just not one that’s in their job description. Goes to show the Biden admin thinks everyone is idiots! Biden: “if we call it something else, we can get them to work 24 hrs a day caring for kids. Hahaha”. Wonder where the money is coming from to hire federal babysitters???

No I do not think we should have federal employees baby sit them. Biden if you want them over here you take them to your house and support them from your pocket.
So, once again, services normally provided to citizens by federal employees will be cut so services can be diverted to help illegals at the border. How many more ways can the Biden administration ignore citizens in favor of increasing the democratic voter base?
So if they have time to take a 4 month leave, couldn’t that indicate that we have way too many gov employees? Otherwise, how is their work to get done?🤔
Ok, so we are a nation of immigrants, however, time will prove me right when I say this. This bunch will prove to be the least intelligent, most backward, criminal bunch in the history of American immigration.
Most are coming from villages and jungles where civilization has not quite filtered in, during the Reagan years I did visit a couple of those countries down there, the corruption, violence, illiteracy is rampant, I am not saying that these necessarily bad people. I am saying that they will constitute a huge burden on our economy, social services, law enforcement, education, medical care etc……… This is NOT the managerial, or technical class we saw coming out of Central Europe, Asia, Cuba, and the initial waves of refugees from Nicaragua, Venezuela when anyone with better than a half brain wanted out of those places and communist rule.
These folks will prove to be detrimental to the overall stability of the United States, and IF they do work, they will take those jobs from those who most need them, the already poor and less educated Americans of ALL races, that will make it that much harder for these American citizens to climb out of poverty if they have to compete with these cheap labor illegals. Who befits here?? Big business and the democrat party by increasing the number of poor people in this country and blaming republicans and hard working people for it.
