CCP Mouthpiece Infiltrates Trump Press Conference
A CCP mouthpiece infiltrated Trump's press conference on Sunday. Meanwhile, the media’s anti-Trump arm just took hypocrisy to a new level.
A reporter for a Hong Kong TV station with strong ties to the Chinese Communist Party gained access to a White House presser. The said reporter used the platform to promote China’s recent public relations blitz. The reporter managed to get President Trump’s attention in a Q&A session and praised China’s humanitarian response to the pandemic.
When the so-called journalist was called on to ask her question, she used her time to underscore China’s recent disbursement of medical supplies. “Only last week, there were multiple flights coming from China full of medical supplies,” she said. “Companies like Huawei and Alibaba have been donating to the United States, like 1.5 million N95 masks and also a lot of medical gloves, and much more medical supplies –”
It didn’t take long for Trump to realize he smelled a rat.
“Sounds like a statement more than a question,” Trump interrupted. “Who are you working for, China?” Trump asked the reporter, “Who are you with?”
The flabbergasted reporter smiled nervously and told the president no, she wasn’t working for China. She told him she works for Pheonix TV, a Hong Kong-based television station.
“Who owns that? China?” the president asked. “It’s a privately owned company,” she responded.

However, that statement is not 100% true. Previous FCC investigations into Chinese propaganda indicate the Chinese Communist Propaganda Department primarily controls Phoenix TV. They further stated that the station is under an executive directive to not give the United States any positive coverage.
At an FCC hearing in 2018, Chung Pong, a former Pheonix TV news director, told investigators that the CCP pulls the strings at the station. “I know from personal experience that Phoenix TV's content is subject to the dictates of the leadership of the Central Communist Propaganda Department (CCP), Central Communist Overseas Propaganda Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which often directly sent instructions to Phoenix Satellite TV.”
Despite the organization’s well-known ties to communist propaganda, the reporter still managed to gain admission to the event. The White House Correspondents’ Association chooses which reporters have access to the briefing and they approved hear attendance. While the WHCA was stacking the president’s press conference with communist propaganda agents, conservative media outlets have been repeatedly denied access.
The WHCA recently barred One America News Network (OANN), an up-and-coming conservative new organization, from attending press conferences. According to the WHCA, they banned OANN for violating “social distancing” guidelines. It, however, certainly seems like the mainstream media mafia doesn’t want conservative voices represented at these events. Although, the organization made sure the public got to hear the CCP’s voice loud and clear.
Republicans React
The incident understandably caused outrage among Republicans. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) took to Twitter to voice his frustrations. “Pheonix TV has been waging information warfare in the US for yrs,” Cruz tweeted, “MSM [Mainstream Media] should NEVER have given them a seat at WH press conference.” Cruz went on to point out that the CCP is heavily invested in the company and reminded readers that Pheonix broadcast forced confessions Hong Kong booksellers who violated state censorship laws in 2016.
“So to recap,” Cruz concluded, “the WH Correspondents Assoc gave a seat at the WH press briefing to an employee of the Chinese Communist govt, to ask globally televised Qs to POTUS, at the same time China is waging a propaganda campaign to hide their culpability & coverup of the Wuhan virus?!?”
Cruz and other prominent Republicans questioned the admission of a communist propaganda agent. Meanwhile, the left-leaning press quickly took to Twitter to defend the CCP mouthpiece. Additionally, the left went on to criticize the president for acting improperly. Mainstream media has largely omitted this story.
The same left-wing media that had butchered the president over allowing “foreign interference” in the last election is now allowing communist propaganda agents to participate in White House press conferences. The WHCA and the rest of the left-leaning, anti-Trump MSM complex seem to be more interested in furthering its political agenda than protecting the interests of the American people.
