Conservatism Is Not On The Ballot In November
Donald Trump is not a real conservative … At least according to Rush Limbaugh.
During his nationally broadcast show, Rush Limbaugh lamented that there wasn't a true conservative on the ballot in November.
“Can someone point out to me the conservative on the ballot? What do you mean, Rush? Are you admitting Trump’s not a conservative?” Limbaugh asked himself. “Damn right I am! … Folks, when did I ever say that he was?”
This outrage by Rush and other conservatives has come after Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, released their education plan. Many have felt it too much like a handout and at odds with traditional conservative values.
“Look I don't know how to tell you this, conservatism lost in the primaries … We had Cruz. We had Rubio.”

“They come together when it’s time to win,” he said. “When it’s time to beat us, they come together. We haven’t figured that out, and I don’t know. A lot of people say, ‘Well, yeah, Rush, that’s because we got a lot of highly principled people who are not gonna sell out the just for the sake of winning.’ OK. To each his own. But I don’t know what— What do you want to do?”
“When is this going to stop? It's going to stop when you nominate a conservative, it's going to stop when there is a conservative that can win elections.”
Finally, Rush Limbaugh lamented, “I wish conservatism was on the ballot.”
