Dana Carvey reprises his role as the Church Lady in this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

He interviews Ted Cruz and Donald Trump for the opening skit of the night and doesn’t pull any punches. The Chruch lady starts off the show with a jab at Donald Trump.

“You know it’s interesting times in America, right? And now we’ve landed on the exciting presidential matchup between a godless liberal Democrat and Hillary Clinton.”

From there Carvey moves on to insulting multiple celebrities for their awful looking and inappropriate wardrobes and proceeds to being out Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz gets ripped into for both dropping out of the race and being likened to Lucifer by John Boehner. Ted Cruz laments that he will try evil for a change and go visit hell for a bit.

Donald Trump is the second and final guest for the Church Lady and is played by the always on point Darrell Hammond. Hammond has been playing both Donald Trump and Bill Clinton for years and whatever way the election goes, he is guaranteed a character in the White House.

The Church Lady prods Trump for not being a big church goer, which he defends by saying, “I’m a big church guy,I’m there all the time, sometimes I even go even when it’s not church day.”

Watch the video, it’s worth a good laugh.
