Gillette Made A Huge Mistake With New Ad…
Gillette’s new commercial might not be as cutting-edge as the company had hoped.
It’s only been a day since Gillette debuted its “We Believe” campaign aimed at combating “toxic masculinity,” and while the ad has earned plenty of praise – and even more publicity – for the brand, critics of the ad are already upset with Gillette for what some feel is an “insulting” message that assumes misogyny is rampant among their customer base.

The ad, which debuted Monday, begins with “a compilation of actions commonly associated with ‘toxic masculinity,'” per a press release — actions including online bullying, men laughing at misogynistic television shows, or a boss mansplaining his female colleague’s idea, among others.
The ad then shifts and suggests that “something changed” not long ago – a reference to the #MeToo movement – and shows clips of men defending others from bullying, or stopping friends from harassing, hurtful behavior.
“We believe in the best in men,” a narrator says. “To say the right thing, to act the right way. Some already are. But some is not enough. Because the boys watching today will be the men of tomorrow.”

Remington makes better razors. Sad that Gillette decided to advertise to the “soy boy” audience instead of the audience that built their business over the years.
I’m proud of them…brave and bold. thank you!
I’m done with Gillette, after 60 years! I’m sick of political correctness as dictated by the wimps now being raised by “ a village”!
Toxic masculinity is another liberal hogwash made up issue and does not exist. It is pure unadulterated male cattle excrement being being promoted by sick deranged liberal women who have nothing better to do but make up pseudo-crises and then set out to do something about it. People who believe this are being duped by some lefty social justice crap.
Do soy boys even need to shave? Wouldn’t they use Nair or those women’s shavers?
I switched to Dollar Shave Club two years ago and couldn’t be happier. Gillette lost it’s way, like so many American companies, by buying into liberalism hook, line, and sinker. I will never buy another Gillette product ever again, same as I will never buy anything at Dick’s…I don’t do Gillette, and I don’t do Dick’s! Keep it up, corporate America, I vote with my wallet AND my ballot.
I’d buy a product for its quality and price. I do not buy products that use political viewpoints to insult their consumers. Did Gillette hire a septic feminist to do their advertising???
forget Gillette, just buy BIK disposable = 12 for £
Dollar shave club
