Greta Thunberg Calls Out Facebook to Censor Her Haters
“I am, like many others, questioning whether I should keep using Facebook or not. Allowing hate speech, the lack of fact-checking and, of course, the issues of interfering with democracy… are among many, many other things that are very upsetting,” says Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on a Facebook post.
According to Elon Musk, Thunberg has “better reasoning & more heart than the vast majority of political leaders.” Former President Barack Obama also says Thunberg is “one of our planet’s greatest advocates.”
The 16-year-old activist has threatened to quit Facebook if it refuses to silence her critics. Thunberg adds that the lies and conspiracy theories about her and many others result in hate, death threats, and violence. “This could easily be stopped if Facebook wanted to. I find the lack of taking responsibility very disturbing,” says Thunberg.

Thunberg has advised her fans to challenge Facebook to silence her antagonists. She also adds that Twitter has not done a very good job of protecting her. On an October 25 tweet, Thunberg shares that it has come to her attention that there are people who have been trying to impersonate her or falsely claim that they represent her in order to reach political leaders and other famous personalities.

Little Greta should really check her own facts about all the bullshit that she’s spreading. Climate change is a normal cycle of events this world goes through, and anything beyond that is politically motivated and a money-grab.
Greta Thunberg is autistic, and one constant characteristic of people everywhere on the autistic spectrum is that they have *absolutely no sense of politics*, major or petty. This makes them easily exploitable by unscrupulous adults. Her parents should be arrested for using — or allowing their daughter to be used — like this by assorted politicians. They’re shamelessly exploiting the girl for their own Children’s Crusade, and remember how well the first one turned out.
Regardless of your age and circumstance…if you going to put yourself out there, be prepared for people to disagree with you. Trying to suppress people who don’t agree with you is something you can expect in Russia or China. The US has freedom of speech. If you don’t like it…to bad
