Herschel Walker Says He Is “Upset,” Saying “We’re Not Coming Together as a People”
Former NFL running back Herschel Walker said he is “upset” as “things are getting worse. We’re not coming together as a people.”
Walker said he was disappointed with politicians for “sitting on the sidelines doing absolutely nothing” until President Trump “tried to reestablish law and order the following days of protests in Washington, D.C., Atlanta and other cities across the country,” as reported by Fox News.
“We are better than this-let's unite together! What we need to do is fill out our Census papers to let people know we exist & register to vote and choose people who can make a change!” Walker said on Twitter.

Walker reportedly criticized the media for boosting the racial divide in the country, saying that those who are damaging property and looting are “criminals.” According to him, “peaceful protest must be from 9-to-5.”
“My mom always said when things get dark, if you're still out, you gonna be trouble,” Walker said. “If they're not in their house at 8 o'clock, they should be arrested unless you got a very, very good excuse for being out.”
“It’s enough,” Walker said. “It’s time for us to come together,” he then added.
On Instagram, Walker was critical of protesters, saying that leaders should execute “swift justice” on non-peaceful gatherings.
He declared that he supported police and he would stand with the protesters who did so peacefully.
