McConnell Says Biden is Wrong ‘Once Again’ about GOP’s Message to Americans

On Thursday, President Joe Biden’s repeated claim that Republican Party members fail to articulate “what they are for” to Americans was disapproved by Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.

During an appearance on Fox News, the senator insists that the GOP has been quite vocal in connection to what they see as the most important issues the U.S. is currently facing.

McConnell told Bret Baier on “Special Report” that “My good friend the president got it wrong once again.”

He then enumerated the times he has supported Biden in the past year. He noted that he helped the president pass a bipartisan infrastructure bill. He also recalled supporting a bill in the Senate that would handle China and the shortage of computer chips.

“If the president starts acting like a moderate like he campaigned, we can do business. The reason we've not been speaking recently this year is because he adopted the Bernie Sanders prescription for America. He did that even though he got no mandate for it, a 50-50 Senate and a couple of seats' majority in the House, and they couldn't get it through,” McConnell said.
