Businessman Mike Lindell, who is MyPillow CEO and a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, took the term “four more years” to the next level. In a tweet last Saturday, Lindell called for Trump to impose “martial law” in seven states. He promptly deleted the tweet afterward.

Who is Michael Lindell?

Lindell, a Minnesota native, and an enterprising businessman launched and operated a number of small businesses in the 1980s before succeeding with MyPillow, an open-cell, poly-foam pillow design that claims to help treat and cure various diseases. Lindell overcame financial difficulties, a divorce, and substance addiction before turning his life around. He credits his recovery through prayer and remains sober.

Lindell is also an unabashed Trump supporter, having contributed heavily to his campaign. He also follows the President on Twitter. He went on record saying that Trump is the “greatest president” in U.S. history earlier this year. When the election reports showed that his candidate is on the losing side, he began demanding Trump “put people in prison” over his election loss. Lindell joined Trump in approaching Republican lawmakers in several states to take their charges of fraud.

Arizona, Georgia plus five other states

His now-deleted tweet Saturday followed the president’s calling out Republican governors Doug Ducey (Arizona) and Brian Kemp (Georgia). The President said that the two sold him out by not contesting nor overturning the election results. In earlier tweets, Lindell called for Georgia voters to go to prison because Trump didn’t win.

In the deleted tweet, Lindell wrote: “Look @dougducey you made the list, and your crooked buddy @BrianKempGA! @realDonaldTrump please impose martial law in these 7 states and get the machines/ballots!” He claimed that if Trump declared martial law in the seven states, his allies could confiscate each state's ballots. This leads to overturning the results of the U.S. presidential election in Trump's favor. Lindell didn’t specify the seven states, although both Georgia and Arizona are assumed included, as well the other states where Biden won. This also includes Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. Lindell removed the tweet an hour later.

‘Don’t Give it to Biden’

Last month, the MyPillow CEO joined a Trump rally and called for Governor Kemp to take action and overturn election results in Georgia. He said “We have to get this governor … Brian Kemp has to give an order to have a Congress meeting, whatever they do, their legislators, and pull Georgia down and don't give it to Biden. It doesn't matter who they give it to; don't give it to Biden and find out all your corruption.”

“If you pull down Georgia, Pennsylvania, and crooked Nevada, now nobody has 270 [electoral] votes, and on December 14 it goes to the [Electoral College] vote and Donald Trump wins the election!” Lindell added.

Response to Lin Wood

His deleted post appeared to respond to an earlier tweet from Attorney Lin Wood, who is assisting the President with his legal challenges on the election results. Wood called for a military and government-led crackdown in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

President Trump refuted the calls for martial law. He tweeted Sunday that “Martial law = Fake News. Just more knowingly bad reporting!” He appeared to debunk the idea that he suggested martial law to advisers as he continues to refuse calls for him to concede.

It seems no one can beat the money people that runs the world, not even a billionaire who has established himself and only wants the good of America.
