Is The NRA A Terrorist Organization? [With Photos]

HELL NO but The San Fransisco Board Of Supervisors thinks they are. Tuesday that band of bozos passed a resolution that declares the NRA a domestic terror organization. They claim that the NRA “musters its considerable wealth and organizational strength to promote gun ownership and incite gun owners to acts of violence.”

As insane as this sounds, they aren't stopping there. The legislative body is now asking the federal government to follow their lead. This all comes on the same day that Walmart is making major changes to the company's firearm sales.

What's In The Resolution?

As you may have already expected, the resolution is full of half truths and bogus statistics. Below are some of the finer points of the steaming pile of garbage they call a resolution.

Who Is Responsible For This Nonsense?

District 2 Supervisor Catherine Stefani authored the declaration and is also obviously a moron. According to Stefani, “The NRA has it coming to them, and I will do everything that I possibly can to call them out on what they are, which is a domestic terrorist organization.” Incase you were wondering, Stefani does not consider ANTIFA a terrorist organization.

Stefani cited the recent shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival as well as shootings in Texas and Ohio as her motivation. “People are dying every day in this country, and doing nothing is not an option, and that is what the NRA continues to do,” she added. Apparently in San Fransisco not doing what someone wants makes you a terrorist.

NRA Response

NRA spokeswoman Amy Hunter said before the vote “This ludicrous stunt by the Board of Supervisors is an effort to distract from the real problems facing San Francisco, such as rampant homelessness, drug abuse and skyrocketing petty crime.” Hunter has a good point, San Fransisco has become a disgusting haven for criminals and drug users. The streets are full of  trash and the city has made little or no effort to clean up crime at the local level.  Additionally, San Francisco is also a “sanctuary city” and allows ANTIFA to organize and protest however wherever and whenever they choose.

As crazy as this sounds it should come as no surprise. The second ammendent is under attack daily by the left and even some on the right. Whether you agree with the NRA or not, the only reason they are under attack is because they support the 2A.  As much as this is about guns it is so much bigger than a single issue. The larger issue is government over reach and very dangerous logic in legislation. Left unchecked these small chips at our foundation will lead to the fall of our republic.
