Ohio Democrat’s Daughter Yelled Obscenities and Resisted Arrest Outside Trump Rally
Laura Gerken, 36, daughter of a Democrat county commissioner in Ohio, was one of three people arrested on disorderly conduct charges outside President Trump's rally in Toledo on Thursday night.
According to reports, Gerken engaged in a physical fight with another person outside the Huntington Center. She was then seen yelling obscenities and resisted when officers placed her under arrest.”
Laura Gerken’s father is Pete Gerken – a Lucas County commissioner since 2005. Here's the statement he issued in response to his daughter’s arrest:
“All Americans have the right to free speech and to exercise their right to express their opinions. The Toledo police department and all law enforcement professionals did a great job yesterday protecting everyone’s safety in the downtown area. Like so many other Americans, we feel strongly about the views of President Trump. We will deal with this issue as a family.”

Another woman, Lindsey Rowland, 29, was arrested outside the rally.
According to police, she was unsteady on her feet and punched an officer. Rowland was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication. A third person, John Miller, was drinking around the time of the rally. He refused to leave and was also charged with disorderly conduct.
According to city spokesman Ignazio Messina, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz was pleased with how police and firefighters handled the rally. But, what are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section below.

She acted just like terrorist. Another upset democrat will no behavior, it’s the way her parents raised her. It’s a pity, no parental supervision as a child.
Shes entitled to her opinion yes. But smacking a dog with a stick is only going to get you bit. She knew what she was doing and attempted something inciteful i can only imagine in order to have gotten herself picked up by police. And while her dad is proud of her accomplishments…..shes not going to sway any single person who attended the rally in toledo. All she did was stomp her feet just like dems do when trump accomplishes things without their help. Problem theyve got with trump is….hes doing exactly as he promised at the last election. Hes making things happen! Hes getting it done. And hes not a politician!! So now it makes them all look incompetent….which theyve proved to us over and over again. Too many of those politicians have nothing to show for years of “service” to their states. Its like playing monopoly and picking a”get out of jail free” card! Theyve got the position…they got voted in!!—-and then they sit and spin….for years! And it becomes the new norm. Funny nancy took great pride in displaying personalized pens with her name splashed on them for signing the articles of impeachment headed for the senate in what she deemed a “sad” moment. Yet the juvenile arrogance and smirking only proved one thing. Her proudest accomplishment so far this term was ordering pens! Dems are dorks through and through these days! And they stand around and stomp their feet waiting for participation ribbons!
