Germany was the target of a brutal attack yesterday. Passengers on a train in southern Germany were left with nowhere to run, as a teenage Afghan refugee began attacking patrons with an axe.
A group from Hong Kong may have gotten the worst of it. Three people in their group (a 62-year-old man, his 58-year-old wife, their 27-year-old daughter, her 31-year-old boyfriend) were seriously injured, one luckily was left with only slight injuries. Although, fourteen people were treated for shock after the assault.
It was reported that as police arrived the young Afghani refugee tried to flee the scene, giving police the opportunity to shoot and kill the attacker. So far, the motive for the attack is unknown.

The Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Hermann said that the teenage refugee had been living in the nearby town of Ochsenfurt. He went on to tell reporters that he had apparently traveled to Germany, as a refugee, as an unaccompanied minor.
Some passengers on the train reported that he had yelled “Allah Akbar” during the attack. Apparently, authorities are investigating the claim.
The carnage inside the train car was said to have been a gruesome sight. One man told reporters that the train car “looked like a slaughterhouse.”
There is an overwhelming fear in Germany about attacks from Islamic extremists. After the attacks in France and Brussels, the whole country has been walking on egg shells. Another attack in Germany was claimed to have been by Islamic extremists, coincidentally, that attack also took place at a train station. A man injured a handful of people with a knife.
Attacks are getting more and more frequent around the world, and apparently, our refugees are not who they say they are.
