In addition, he clarified that 2024 is too far away to make any commitments. Also, he said he missed helping people during his term as President.
2022 Plans Before Running in 2024
When asked about his goals for 2022, Trump said he’s going to help with the House. “I think we have a really good chance. I’m working with everybody including Kevin McCarthy in taking back the House. I think we have a really good chance of doing it.
Likewise, the Senate’s going to be a little bit tougher,” he said. “It’s very important that we get the right people. That means in the Senate, that means in the House,” Trump added. Also, Trump offered his presence to boost voter morale.
“If they need a rally, we’ll do a rally, we’ll do calls, we’ll do all sorts of things. Almost everybody I endorse wins,” Trump promised.

The former president also committed to helping with the Republican Senate’s 2022 campaign. He wants to help the Republicans win back the Senate as well. In fact, Trump thinks the Republicans have “a really, really good chance” and that is “all in” on helping the GOP. Specifically, he said he’s willing to travel, do speeches, and do rallies for candidates that need help.
Trump Misses Helping the People
Hannity asked Trump what he missed the most about being president. “I miss the most, helping people. That’s why I did it. Look, this has been very traumatic.
I had a great life, great company, great business, no problems and now all I do is, people, go after you. It’s vicious, it’s horrible but you know what? I loved doing it because I helped people.
And I’ve helped them more than any president,” Trump told Hannity. The former president said he considers his $1.5 trillion packages of corporate and individual tax cuts among his greatest accomplishments. He added that hopefully, the Biden administration won’t “screw it up.”
Trump said that voters are showing concern because of everything that’s happening. Americans worry about their second amendment rights. In fact, Americans fear losing their guns to the federal government.
“Their taxes are going up. Regulations are going through the roof. Jobs are going to go out. What you see. you know this is going to take a little while to show. But if they add all these regulations back, the jobs are going to be gone. Your energy independence is going to be gone,” he said.
Why He’s Running in 2024
The former president said his popularity grew even after his term. “Look, I’ve got tremendous numbers … there is more popularity [for me] now than there was the day before the election because they see how bad things are at the border,” he said. “So,” he concluded, “I say this. I am looking at it very seriously. Beyond seriously.
From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet. it’s a little too soon.”
Trump also advised 2022 Republican candidates to keep his agenda in mind. Candidates should maintain his “Make America Great” agenda if they want to retake Congress.“If they want to win, yes.
We’ve expanded the Republican Party. If you want to win and win big, you have to do that. You have to do it,” he said. After they win in 2022, he’ll now focus on running in 2024.
