Staffers Report Kamala is a “Bully” after Two Aides Quit
Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris has been receiving some bad press as two of her aides resigned and her party is reportedly worried about her unlikable and unpopular image that she might ruin the chances of every woman who would run for office. Apart from these, a report surfaced indicating that she’s a “bully” and a boss that’s described as “soul-destroying.”
The Washington Post first published the report, and it shows people how bad the situation is when regime media outlets are also criticizing her.
According to the report, rumors have started going around in July that Harris’ staff was starting to wilt due to a dysfunctional and frustrating office. Additionally, they are also starting to feel burned out just a few short months following her historic swearing-in ceremony. Many of them are already pondering ways to quit.
With four desks in her office becoming empty soon, questions as to why Harris continues to go through many top-level Democratic aides resurfaced. Apparently, this is an issue that has been prevalent in her almost-18 years in public service. Today, these questions about her management have gone as far as to whether it will impede her ability to go run for the presidency and manage it.
A former staff member said: “It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work. With Kamala, you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you’re constantly sort of propping up a bully and it’s not really clear why.”
The article then goes on to mention other sources who allegedly have worked with Harris, some of whom have nice things to say while others are quite negative about her.
Both critics and supporters have essentially described harris as a highly demanding boss. She wants those who work for her to spend long hours completing tasks and doing a lot of prep work that she should be the one doing. She also reportedly has a habit of being aggressive towards her staff members.
While these qualities aren’t the worst ones a person can have, and while they’re common to many politicians in D.C., they have become a big problem in the Vice President’s case because she doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
In the eyes of the people mentioned in the article, Harris hasn’t done a lot to make her time as VP a success. Also, she’s not likable enough to go further in politics and she doesn’t have enough redeeming qualities that would overshadow her negative traits. Additionally, the chaos ensuing in her office is not worth it.
The vice president’s office did not give any comment to the Washington Post. However, one of her staff members had something to say on Twitter in a likely effort to rebut the criticism.

The tweet was mocked by many, with people on Twitter joking about the person being held hostage or ignoring every negative thing that comes with working for the VP.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, however, that they did not force nor ask for the tweet, but not a lot of people believed that.
