Former President Donald Trump addressed a crowd of his supporters last Saturday evening in Ohio in the first rally of numerous campaign events many expect him to appear in. He is expected to be on the trail to campaign for MAGA candidates for 2022.
In his speech, the former president did not hold back and did not sugar-coat anything.
During his rally in Wellington, Trump said President Joe Biden “is destroying our nation” right in front of their eyes. He was there on behalf of Max Miller, a Republican primary candidate who is running against anti-Trump Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio) in the 2022 midterms.
The president’s statements were welcomed with cheers. He stated that, in just five months, the current administration “is already a complete catastrophe.
He also noted that crime rates and the number of murders have gone up. Meanwhile, police departments have seen their resources taken away. Trump also took note of the immigration situation happening at the border. He said no one has seen anything like it before.
The former president also noted that, due to the border crisis, drug cartels and human trafficking rings “are back in business” and that they’re doing so at a high rate.

Trump then lamented that, just a few months ago, the proliferation of drugs and human trafficking was “way down.”
After this, Trump boldly predicted that the Republican Party would retake the Congres majority next year.
He said that they will take back the House, the Senate, “and we will take back America.”
Trump Urges Voters to Support the GOP in His Recent Ohio Rally
With this, Trump urged the voters attending the event to “deliver massive majorities” for the members of the Republican Party in 2022. He even noted that they have a chance to do it “right here in Ohio’s 16th congressional district” where they can elect “an incredible patriot.”
Following this, the former president described Miller to the crowd and stated why they should vote for him. Trump said he loves the United States and the people of Ohio. He was Trump’s former aide during his time at the White House.
Trump then noted that Miller is going against Gonzalez, and he described the latter as a RINO. He said Gonzalez is a person not respected in D.C. and is one of the people who voted in favor of the “unconstitutional illegal impeachment.”
The former president further described Gonzales as a “sell-out” and a “fake Republican” in his speech. He also called him a “disgrace” for the state of Ohio.
Later on, in his rally in Ohio, Trump said that with the help of the people who attended and with the “patriots” from all over the country, they will be able to “do all that we are supposed to be doing and much more” when the GOP retakes Congress in the 2022 midterm election.
