Trump Has Questions for Biased Pelosi: ‘Will Nancy Investigate Herself?’
Former President Donald Trump released a new statement regarding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the investigation by the January 6th commission. The said commission’s first hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
In his statement, Trump noted that Pelosi has spent a lot of “time, effort, and money” connected to the creation of a “fake and highly partisan” commission just to find out “what happened?”
The former president then wondered if Pelosi will “investigate herself” along with the people on Capitol Hill who refused additional protection. Some such protections include more police personnel and the deployment of the National Guard. Trump implied that because of this, Capitol Hill ended up being unprepared for the large crowd of people that “everyone knew was coming.”
Trump also asked if Pelosi and the commission will review the “massive Voter Fraud” that allegedly happened during the 2020 election. He noted that this particularly happened in swing states. The former president noted that it was the reason thousands of people came to the Capitol. It should, therefore, be a huge factor in the committee report.
He also asked whether Pelosi would allow the release of tapes “so we can see the extent to which ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter played a role, while also revealing ‘who killed Ashli Babbitt?'” In connection to this, Trump said that there needs to “be a real and thorough investigation of this must be done—and what about all of the violence, murders, riots, and fires that took place in Democrat-run cities throughout the United States by ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter, with virtually no consequence for this death and destruction?”
Trump then also questions whether Pelosi will look into the partisan investigations of Conservatives and members of the Republican party, all of which are being done by prosecutors all over the U.S. “The five-year investigation of me, and all that so many have been through, including the fake Russia Russia Russia charge, and including the local Democrat-controlled New York prosecutors who work around the clock to get President Donald Trump, while murderers, drug dealers, and human traffickers go free!”
At the end of the day, Pelosi is in charge of security at the Capitol Building. The House Sergeant at Arms, after all, reports back to her, and so do the Capitol Police. Both the Capitol Police and National Guard were given the instruction to stand down. This effectively limited their response during the riot.
