Congresswoman Maxine Waters claimed Wednesday that U.S. Border Patrol agents trying to secure the southern border from illegal migrants act in a way she described as “worse than … slavery.”

The radical left congresswoman’s comments come in response to the more than 15,000 illegal migrants who invaded the Del Rio, Texas portion of the southern border. These illegal aliens are responsible for the surge in crime in the area, as well as for the food shortages affecting many grocery stores in the city.

Waters and mainstream media have been running smear campaigns antagonizing the border patrol agents who are trying to defend and secure the border.

She said that what people are witnessing at the southern border takes them back “hundreds of years.” Waters described what the border patrol agents are doing as similar to what the country “witnessed in slavery.” The congresswoman said agents are trying to bring the U.S. “back to slavery days” or even to times worse than that.
