Former Vice President Mike Pence is seat to headline a major GOP dinner and fundraising event. The said event will happen in New Hampshire early next month. The state has held the first primary for the presidential election in a century. This sparks more speculation that Pence will run in 2024.
The former Vice President will headline the annual Lincoln Reagan awards dinner organized by the Hillsborough County GOP. It will take place on June 3 in Manchester New Hampshire.
Chris Ager, and RNC member and the Hillsborough County GOP Chair, spoke to Fox News and said that they are excited to have Pence as their keynote speaker.
The news of Pence’s scheduled appearance in New Hampshire comes just four days following his trip to South Carolina. The latter state usually votes third in the Republican Party’s nominating calendar. It also holds the first southern contest during the primaries. The former vice president went to South Carolina to deliver his speech since the end of the Trump administration last Jan. 20.
Pence Engagements Fuel 2024 Speculations
Pence delivered his speech to the Palmetto Family Council in Columbia, South Carolina last Thursday. In his speech, the former vice president slammed the current administration’s agenda.
According to his advisers, Pence’s speech in South Carolina marked the beginning of a more hectic schedule for the former vice president. He will reportedly have two trips every week to help his party-mates on this year and next year’s ballot.
Ever since his time in the vice president’s office ended, Pence has started building his post-administration profile. Last February, the former Vice president joined the Heritage Foundation as a distinguished fellow. He is also scheduled to talk at the Heritage summit in June, which will be held in North Carolina. Pence also joined Young America’s Foundation, a conservative youth organization. Additionally, he started a political advocacy group named Advancing American Freedom.
