Trump Forges Peace Deal Between Israel and Morocco
President Donald Trump did it again, forging a peace deal between forges peace between Israel and Morocco. This is the fourth time in four months that Trump managed to re-establish ties between Israel and an Arab nation. Prior to this, Trump forged peace deals between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Sudan in August.

Trump tweeted the news through his official account. He wrote Thursday night: “Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that “This will be a very warm peace.”
Western Sahara
As part of the deal, the United States will recognize Morocco’s claim over the disputed Western Sahara region. Morocco annexed Western Sahara, a former Spanish colony, in 1975. A local group, the Polisario Front, claims independence for the area. The group operates as a government in exile and maintains a military force in nearby Algeria.
Trump followed up his announcement tweet by posting a historical context on the agreement. “Morocco recognized the United States in 1777. It is thus fitting we recognize their sovereignty over Western Sahara,” he tweeted.
Polisario Front
The US recognition of Moroccan sovereignty changes the official policy on Western Sahara. By backing Morocco’s claims, the Polisario Front will resume their attacks on Moroccan positions. This can reignite a war that remained suspended since the 1990s due to a ceasefire. However, Morocco said they remain committed to the agreement to lay down arms. Meanwhile, the Polisario say they consider the ceasefire broken.
With US policy now shifting towards Morocco, the US role changed from mediator to one who took sides. Former National Security Adviser John Bolton tried during his tenure to resolve the conflict in 2018. He left office before any breakthroughs in the negotiations materialized.
Resumption of Diplomatic Relations
Trump and Morocco’s King Mohammed VI agreed during a conversation that the kingdom will “resume diplomatic relations between Israel and Morocco and expand economic and cultural cooperation to advance regional stability.” The agreement between Israel and Morocco will restore diplomatic and other relations between the two countries. Liaison offices in Tel Aviv and Rabat will open. They will give way to embassies once relations normalize. Also, both countries agreed to allow joint overflight rights for airlines.
A Moroccan official gave comments on the US recognition of Morocco’s claim to Western Sahara. However, he did not mention the agreement with Israel. The official said that “His Majesty King Mohammed VI has been personally involved and instrumental in this process, and this decision only reasserts Morocco’s sovereignty over this entire territory.”
Morocco’s Jewish Community
Prior to the agreement, Morocco already established ties with Israel through its small Jewish community. Tourism and trade relations already existed because of the community. Due to the mutual distrust of Iran, they also maintained below-the-radar security relations. The late King Hassan II met with Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres in Rabat in 1986. The two tried to normalize relations then but gave up when local and regional opposition became too much. His son, Mohammed II, retained cordial relations with Israel.
Prior to the state of Israel in 1948, Morocco hosted a large Jewish population. Many of the original settlers migrated to the area during the Spanish Inquisition. Today, many Israelis find their roots trace back to Morocco. In particular, an estimated 50,000 Israelis travel to Morocco each year. Most go to visit to trace ancestries or learn more about the history.
The Palestinian Question
With Trump’s facilitation of peace deals with Morocco, efforts by Palestinians to create an independent state grows dimmer. Palestinian leaders do not like the reinstatement of relations between their supposed allies for statehood and their enemy, Israel.

Great
Don’t applaud too quickly, if the Dems take power they will undo all Trump’s accomplishments.
Yes this is prophetic. This is part of the peace plan our LORD and Saviour has planned during the end times. We are getting very close with all the turmoil that is going on in the world.
Trump deserves a lot of credit for a lot of things…. I pray dems don’t get into power and destroy all good
President Trump is a God send to all of us who cherish peace and freedom in the world.
As a result, this nation, under God, will see him be re-elected for the next four years because he is an instrument to God’s will.
Establishing peace in the middle east is a great thing to accomplish and celebrate!
Trump did what all other 44 presidents couldn’t achieve. Wow!
Beware of wolves that come in sheep’s clothing now
THATS MY BOY,ALWAYS WORKING TO KEEP THIS COUNTRY GREAT,NO WAY SHOUDL WE THE PEOPLE ALLOW THE CROOKED DEMS TO STEAL THIS ELECTION , LETS GET BEHIND THIS MAN AND FIGHT TO KEEP HIM AND OUR FREEDOM.
President Trump should of won the election. I think we should have a new election with NO mail in votes. Everything that is happening is in the Bible. Right down 2 the virus! Trump did a fantastic job as President. This country is doomed with Biden. He fell asleep on a national televised interview. Then we have Pelosi who was drunk out of her mind. Slurring her words
getting ready for an interview. Do u realize she’s 3rd in line 2 become President if something happens to the President & Vice President. Satan knows his time is short & he is doing everything he can to get ppl’s souls. Biden is a wolf in sheeps clothing. We are in the end times. We as Christians need to say alot of prayers & 2 help Trump anyway we can. Ppl plz guard your souls. I want to spend eternity with the Lord not with the evil 1.
Netanyahu has turned his back on President Trump. I wouldn’t give him any more support. He’s said he’s ready for a Biden presidency.
Thats why Biden always coming out on news talking about souls. Him and Obama talk about nations souls. Because these presidents worship an owl 40ft.tall. In California with all the people that have power with money. Including presidents that we have voted for them in the past.
Clinton,Regan,Nixon,Bush Sr. Bush Jr. Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Obama etc.. mostly all the Democrats. Its an occult they all belong too.
Ex president,Barack Hussain Obama has always shown a proclivity to champion the Muslim countries over Israel and America, which lends credence to being a closeted Muslim. He also tends to be racist and xenophobic. Didn’t he build steel cages to hold the children who crossed the border from Mexico That happened in 2014. Obama thought he was the best thing since sliced bread. His hope and change never came to fruition.
Pamela, I agree 100% with you! We are going into the end times and God is giving all these nonbelievers, yet again, another chance to repent! God is in control and these things have to happen to fulfill his will.
MAY GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TRUMP THE BEST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN MY OPINION.
THE DEMS “WILL” TRY TO DESTROY EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE AND IF WE LOSE THE SENATE IN YET ANOTHER SHAM OF AN ELECTION OUR COUNTRY WILL BE DESTROYED FROM WITHIN IN THE NEXT 4 YEARS. HOPEFULLY GOD WILL BLESS US AND GUARD US FROM ALL THE DESTRUCTION IN THEIR HEADS.
Trump is is the best and will be missed, hope we still have a country in years
