You can't have good politics without good business.

Jill Stein, the probable presidential candidate for the Green Party, has been watching the heavyweights for this election and she's noticed some things. She has been reported in saying that an “overwhelming” number of Sanders supports are more likely to vote for the Green Party than for Hillary Clinton.

You can almost see the light bulb go off in Stein's head.

A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll has 5 percent of the likely voters throwing their support behind Stein. So she put two and two together and said, “I’ve invited Bernie to sit down explore collaboration — everything is on the table. If he saw that you can’t have a revolutionary campaign in a counter-revolutionary party, he’d be welcomed to the Green party. He could lead the ticket and build a political movement.”

Stein has consistently been insistent that she will gather the 15 percent in national polling that will allow her to debate with Hillary and Trump at a televised event. Stein said that she had made her offer to Sanders at the end of the primary season, giving Sanders a chance to debate with the two on television. So far, she has not received a response.

Stein said, “If he continues to declare his full faith in the Democratic Party, it will leave many of his supporters very disappointed. That political movement is going to go on – it isn’t going to bury itself in the graveyard alongside Hillary Clinton.”

If Sanders does agree to take over the Gree Party for Jill Stein, Trump and Hillary may have a tougher battle in store for them at the November elections.
