Breaking News: Active Shooter At Joint Base Andrews, Base Under Lockdown

At 9 am reports came in of an active shooter on  Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

JBA is currently on lockdown due to a report of an active shooter. All personnel are directed to shelter in place. More info as it comes.

First responders are reportedly on the scene of what has been reported as a barricade situation. No info has come in on casualties or hostages at this time, but we will update as more is known.

This also seemed to coincide with an active shooter training drill scheduled for 9am as well.

The base was scheduled to conduct an active shooter exercise, however, reports of a real-world active shooter situation were reported.
