New Cosmetics Brand “Biden Beauty” Encourages People to Vote for Biden
“Beat your face. Beat Trump.” That is the first line seen on the website of Biden Beauty – a new fashion and cosmetics brand.
“We’re merging beauty and politics in order to bring forward a message of agency, diversity, and inclusivity within the beauty communities – and beyond,” the brand says on its website.
The Biden-supporting company debuted on social media towards the end of September. It serves as “a voter registration resource while encouraging U.S. adults to vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden,” reported Fox Business.
“Voting is crucial and statistics show that Gen Z (those born between 1996 and 2015) can make or break this election,” Biden Beauty wrote on Instagram. “For 2020, Pew Research projects one out of ten eligible voters will represent Gen Z, which will compose 24 million potential voters. But among eligible Gen Z voters from the 2019 primaries, data showed only 30% voted, a historically low number.”

The brand clarifies that they do not have an affiliation with the Biden campaign. “We are just proud to support the Biden / Harris campaign, and 100% of the proceeds from our sales will be donated to help get out the vote. No malarkey!” the website reads.
Biden Beauty’s goal is to inspire people, specifically Gen Z to Boomers, “to get out the vote.”
“BIDEN Beauty hopes to spread the message that American is and always has been beautiful,” the website reads. “But to maintain this message, America needs to vote, and vote blue,” it then said.
