According to leaks coming from within the government, Putin’s Russia is allegedly preparing for war with Ukraine.
Reports say that Russians have already prepared a large force made up of almost 200,000 troops that are waiting ready to blitz into Ukraine early next year.
As per Fox News, U.S. officials believe that Russia has a plan for a military invasion of Ukraine on multiple fronts. This reportedly involves as many as 175,000 soldiers and it can happen as early as 2022.
Senior US defense official tells @foxnews US intelligence sees signs that #Putin plans to invade #Ukraine on multi fronts using 175,000 troops in early 2022. The US govt is taking Putin’s signaling seriously. They are not treating it as a bluff.

With this, the U.S. is taking the recent hints or signals from the Kremlin seriously. It does not consider this a bluff, according to a senior U.S. defense official.
The same official also revealed that 100,000 Russian troops are already stationed at that country’s border.
The said offensive would allegedly involve twice that number of Russian troops that took part in a military exercise near the Ukrain border last spring.
Talk About Russia Invading Ukraine a Bluff?
However, while a lot of people are worried, many also have a different view of what these reports entail. According to ZeroHedge, some think it’s idle talk that intends to play up Russia’s threat so that U.S. President Joe Biden can have an easy win when he comes face to face with Putin.
The Zero Hedge report says that John Kirby, the Pentagon’s spokesman, downplayed Russia’s threat a few days ago. ON Tuesday, he said that they are watching the situation closely. However, it doesn’t suggest that every U.S. defense leader is convinced that the threat will come true.
While accusations against Moscow have surfaced even without tangible evidence, a new Washington Post report is trying to show some level of “evidence” through satellite photos:
FALSE ALARM! “Russia planning massive, 175,000-troop offensive vs Ukraine” https://t.co/QoCmxsErmV?
Post highlights scary “unclassified” satellite intel (aka official leak). Not to worry: here’s the script:
Biden will warn Putin at virtual mtg next week and THWART Putin war plan.— Ray McGovern (@raymcgovern) December 4, 2021
These unclassified U.S. intelligence images obtained by the outlet show Russian forces grouping up in four locations. At the moment, 50 tactical groups have been deployed with tanks and artillery.
I guess we’ll see if Ukraine is diverse enough to fight them off. https://t.co/jwv6McqnxU
