On Monday, New York’s Atty. Gen. Letitia James revealed text messages that were sent between Chris Cuomo and Melissa DeRosa, who is Andre Cuomo’s top aide. The texts shows Cuomo using his media resources in helping with his brother’s defense. In essence, Chris Cuomo acted as an aide to the ex-New York governor himself.
Cuomo texted DeRosa, asking the latter to let him “help with the prep.” Additionally, in another message, Cuomo sent DeRosa a statement that was ready for his brother to use as a response to the sexual harassment allegations.
