The Islamic State has only one agenda in mind, to destroy anyone that differs from them, anyone who has different views than them. That’s not a sentence that surprises most people. We all know who ISIS and the Islamic State are. They are terrorist and they want nothing more than to destroy the world.
Well, in Brazil 10 people were arrested who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State. They claimed to be plotting an attack against the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian Justice Minister, Alexander Moraes, told reporters, “Those involved participated in an online group denominated ‘the defenders of Sharia’ and were planning to acquire weapons to commit crimes in Brazil and even overseas. It was an absolutely amateur cell, with no preparation at all, a disorganized cell.”
The overall gist of the terrorist group in custody was that they were “ill-prepared.” Reporters do not believe that the men had communicated with the Islamic State and there was no evidence that they had acquired any weapons.
