Baywatch Becomes Reality In Sweden
- A Swedish police officer dressed in a bikini tackled a thief.
- The officer, Mikaela Kellner, was sunbathing with her friends when a man stole one of their cell phones.
- Apparently, Bay Watch is a big deal over in Sweden.
- It looks like officer Kellner has solved the problem against police officers and the answer is… put them in bikinis.
The world has enjoyed the sights of the human body since Baywatch became a national treasure. Well, apparently, Sweden has taken the bikini-clad lifestyle of Baywatch to heart. Mikaela Kellner, a Swedish police officer, is being praised for tackling a fleeing thief while wearing nothing but a bikini.

Apparently, Kellner was off-duty and sunbathing with friends when she witnessed the criminal had taken a cell phone from her group of “sunbathing friends”.
The thief didn't even know what hit him.
The man, reportedly, walked up to Kellner and her group claiming to be selling publications to raise money for the homeless. Kellner became suspicious, as any cop would when the man began to put papers down on her and her friend's blankets. The man then collected his papers and left. That is when someone in the group noticed that their cell phone was missing.
Kellner told a Swedish news site, The Local, “There was no time, so I ran after him, maybe 15 metres or so. One of my friends is also a police officer, so we got hold of him. He tried to get away so we held onto him harder. I've had a lot of positive comments both from friends and colleagues. It happens all the time that valuables are taken like this… I mainly just wanted to raise awareness of how cunning these people are, almost like magicians.”
Well, it looks like Sweden has figured out the answer to all the discrimination towards police officers…put them in bikinis. All I have to say, Ms. Kellner, is that I'm sure David Hasselhoff is somewhere congratulating you right you now.
