Border Patrol agents at the Tucson Sector have apprehended over 80 unaccompanied migrant minors in the Arizona desert. Apart from them, authorities also apprehended around 50 other migrant families. Human smugglers used an outdated section of the border to cross to the country.

As per agents who patrolled the border close to San Miguel, they encountered a large group of illegal immigrants in the early morning of Wednesday. Around 130 people who went across the border illegally made up the group, according to Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin.

Among the group are around 80 unaccompanied migrant minors. Meanwhile, the other 50 are family unit aliens. Of the illegal aliens, 90 came from Guatemala while the others hail from Honduras.

Many human smugglers still exploit outdated sections of the Arizona-Mexico border. These sections are only secured by vehicle barriers.

According to Breitbart Texas, President Joe Biden put plans that would replace the outdated section barriers on hold when he became president.
