16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg was named by Time as its Person of the Year. President Trump called her selection “ridiculous” a day after. Thunberg was described by Associated Press as “a symbol of a growing movement of young climate activists” as she led weekly school strikes in her country. These strikes prompted for strikes in different cities worldwide.
So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill! https://t.co/M8ZtS8okzE

Trump took his thoughts to Twitter by saying “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend!” As a response, Thunberg changed her Twitter profile bio to “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”
”People are suffering, people are dying, entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth.” Watch Greta Thunberg speak at the UN Monday morning. https://t.co/Akkxm9sXdr pic.twitter.com/ahHKlhbYaE

According to John Kerry, Former Secretary of State, Trump’s comments were “the most disgraceful, bullying, unpresidential, almost cowardly thing to do. And he should be ashamed of himself. But he knows no shame.”
Former Vice President Joe Biden, on the other hand, also had something to say: “What kind of president bullies a teenager? @realDonaldTrump, you could learn a few things from Greta on what it means to be a leader.”
