A LEGEND DIES

The golfing legend Arnold Palmer died Sunday of complications with the heart, in Pittsburgh. To some of you, golf may not be very important. In fact, I'm sure there are a few of you that saw the name Arnold Palmer right now and thought to yourselves, “the guy who created the drink?” or, “the guy who's name is on that hospital and airport?”
Arnold Palmer did a lot more than just create a drink that mixes lemonade and ice tea. He was credited for bringing the game of golf to the public's attention and, rightly so, was called “The King” of golf. He was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from George W. Bush in 2004. Was then given the Congressional Gold Medal eight years later. Not to mention winning just about every honor a professional golfer can win. He eventually created his own company, Arnold Palmer Enterprises, designed golf courses, created the drink that I mentioned earlier, was an experienced pilot, and active philanthropist.
Arnold Palmer wasn't just a golfer, he was golf. The world of sports will greatly miss the legend of Arnold Palmer. He was 87.
ATTACK IN WASHINGTON

A gunman killed five people at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington. Reports said that he walked into the mall with a rifle around 7:30pm, found his way to the Macy's department store and began firing. He ended up killing four women and one man in the incident.
He then fled the scene and led 200 police officers on an intense manhunt. Eventually, the 20-year-old suspect was caught and identified as Arcan Cetin. Investigators are saying that Islamic Terrorism was not a factor in the attack.

KILLER CLOWNS

This just might be the creepiest news report that I have ever seen. Over the weekend in Tennessee, a warning was released by the Tennessee Department of Safety and the Tennessee Highway Patrol that told parents to be on the look out for clowns. That warning alone is enough to make you stay inside with all the doors locked.
Apparently, a group of child predators are dressing up as clowns in Tennessee to lure children into their vehicles or into the woods.
I don't know about you but my chances of visiting Tennessee now went from little to no chance whatsoever.
REVENGE IN BALTIMORE

An act vengeance was committed over the weekend in Baltimore. Three gunmen opened fire in retaliation for the shooting that happened on Labor Day this year. Reports have said that the three gunmen went to the same location of the original shooting and opened fire.
Eight people were shot, including a three-year-old girl who just happened to be walking down the street with her father at the time. The eight victims were taken to the hospital and reports have claimed that they are all expected to live.
The suspects for the shooting took off on foot after the incident and have yet to be identified or apprehended.
